Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mirabelle
Female (spayed)
Short-haired tortoiseshell
1+ year
Mirabelle came to us as a stray older kitten. She showed up to eat with a feral colony. She is a young adult, over a year old, and rather shy. She is intimidated by other cats but may do well with other non-dominating cats given an adequate adjustment period (at least 2 weeks). She probably won't do well with small children or dogs because she is so easily intimidated.
She loves to have her shoulders scratched, and loves chin scratches too. She does not like to be picked up. She is the definition of "Tortie-tude". She wants attention on her terms.
Mirabelle was a scrawny kitten when we first got her, but she is now a chubby girl who has trouble cleaning her back. We want to get her in a good home as soon as possible so she can get more exercise and lose the excess weight.
You can visit Mirabelle at PetSmart in Carmel/Westfield, IN.
