Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hank is an approximately 11 month old border collie blend. We were told he is border collie x Australian cattle dog, but he's small and has a little bit of an underbite, so we think there is something else mixed in. Hank weighs about 28 pounds and isn't going to get much bigger.
Hank loves other dogs and will try to engage them in play. He is shy around new people and takes a little while to warm up, so we don't force greetings. We let Hank take his time. Once he gets to know you he is very affectionate.
This is not a high energy dog, so he's a pretty easy keeper. Daily walks, play session, helping with chores around the house...these are all things Hank likes to do.
Hank was surrendered to us for nipping the children in the home when they would run and play, so no children for this guy. We do not know how Hank is with cats.
Hank is pretty good on leash, but does not know to stay on your left and not cross in front, so some obedience training would be good for this little guy. Hank's previous owners said he is housetrained and he is also crate trained. He rides well in the car. Oh! And he likes to play with toys and is working on retrieving.
Hank's adoption fee is $250 and includes neuter, vaccines, microchip, collar and ID tag.
