“Not now, Ma!” That is What I told my previous owner when she tried to have my sisters and I euthanized because she thought we were too old.
So my name is Dorothy Zbornak and I am a Pom/bichon mix of 14 years young. I love naps in my crate with a soft bed and blanket. After Dr D took care of my medical needs I have been able to have an amazing appetite. I enjoy eating my dehydrated raw dog food. Apparently I do a good j ob eating with just the 2 teeth in my mouth. After my spay, I also have been able to go potties better. I never potty in my crate since I love hanging out in there. I love human and kids but I am very shy at first and need someone patient enough to let me gain some trust first.
I enjoy walking around the yard and sunbathing. I recently learned to love the sofa. It is soooooo comfy.
I would love to have a calm and quiet family who will love me for me and let me live out my glory days with them.
Carol Stream is UTD on vaccinations, is microchipped, dewormed, given flea and tick prevention and has been fixed. This furbaby is currently being fostered in Carol Steam, IL and would love to find a furever home! Adoption fee is $200, if you are interested in meeting or adopting please apply online at www.rescuewarriorscorp.org and we will arrange meet and greets with approved applicants only at thi s time. Are the dogs currently listed not what you are looking for? Do you have a favorite breed and are having trouble finding it? Feel free to follow us on facebook, we are always saving more dogs. https://www.facebook.com/RescueWarriorsCorp/
If you can't adopt, please consider a donation care made directly to the rescue via paypal or contact us at info@rescuewarriorscorp.org. We will do our best to respond to any and all requests and contacts as soon as possible, but we are a 100% volunteer run rescue. It is great because that means we can keep our adoption prices low because we are not paying salaries, but all of our volunteers do have families and "real" jobs in order to support our passion of saving animals from euthanasia often just days or hours before they are scheduled to be put to sleep. That being said, one of us are going to do our best to contact via email or by phone within 48 hours of any inquiry. It is not uncommon that when you have made the decision to add to your family and committing to adopting a rescue dog that you are very excited, we just ask that you be patient with us.
