If snuggling was an Olympic sport, Troup would get the GOLD!
Troup is settling in well, you’d never know that he’s spent the majority of his life in a shelter. He greets every person he meets with tail wags and excitement, every time someone new walks in he assumes they’re his new best friend. Clearly he‘ shad a family at some point. It took him all of 5 seconds to make friends with his new foster brothers, and he won over foster dad with his first goofy grin. He’s definitely a snuggle bug and wasted no time getting up on the couch! In typical Beagle mix fashion, he has the worried puppy dog look down and he knows when to use it! He’s got a big old head to match his adorable dumbo ears, we’re guessing he’s a 10 month old hound/boxer/beagle mix.
Troup is UTD on vaccinations, is microchipped, dewormed, given flea and tick prevention and has been fixed. This furbaby is currently being fostered in Plainfield, IL and would love to find afurever home! We will do our best to respond to any and all requests and contacts as soon as possible, but we are a 100% volunteer run rescue. It is great because that means we can keep our adoption prices low because we are not paying salaries, but all of our volunteers do have families and "real" jobs in order to support our passion of saving animals from euthanasia often just days or hours before they are scheduled to be put to sleep. That being said, one of us are going to do our best to contact via email or by phone within 48 hours of any inquiry. It is not uncommon that when you have made the decision to add to your family and committing to adopting a rescue dog that you are very excited, we just ask that you be patient with us.
