My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dreyfus (along with Manhattan) was rescued from a Backyard Breeder in Hocking County. Backyard Breeders are like puppy mills, where the dogs are kept in deplorable conditions for one purpose - to breed and make the owner money. Manhattan and Dreyfus were the last two to be rescued. Pets Without Parents already placed over 30 of the dogs into loving homes.

Dreyfus is a golden retriever mix, and unfortunately lost his teeth from chewing on the bars of the cage he spent his former life in. Despite this, he still eats well when some water is added to his dry food. He is very shy and will take some TLC, but we have no doubt he will turn out to be a wonderful addition to any family. Dryefus is about 7 years old, all of which has been spent in a cage. Won't you please find it in your heart to give this poor guy a break and let him live out his golden years in a wonderful home, staring out the window at some birds, laying on his very own bed?
