My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adorable Ginger, along with 3 other dogs, were dumped out on a county road in rural Texas along with some dog food. A resident who lived on that road reached out for help. Our friends at Lucie’s Project were able to pick all four up and get them to safety. Lucie's was able to take the larger dog into their rescue. We took in Ginger, Tad and Rocky. Ginger is very sweet and she gets along great with other dogs and people. The resident cat, TC, will jump into their enclosure with them and Ginger is fine with him. They are all a pretty laid-back group of dogs. Ginger is only around 4 months old and appears to be a Flat-Coated Retriever mix. She has the cutest expressions! She is approximately 15 pounds currently and we think she will be a smaller-medium dog when grown. Ginger is wishing for a new family that wouldn’t ever dream of dumping her. Ginger's adoption fee is $650 (that includes ground transport from Houston, TX to the Seattle, WA area). She has been fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped so she is ready to go! Ginger is currently in her foster home in Houston, TX.
