Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bert is a double yellow-headed Amazon, 25 y/o, who talks and sings (opera) to entertain. His vocabulary is limited to roughly 10 words or so: Hello, Bert, Mom, good night, ouch, what and more. He can be vocal around dinner time, as he wants the attention on him. He thinks he is a cat or a dog and will bark like a dog. Puts himself to bed when you tell him ‘Bert - get in your cage’, he likes to be covered at night and prefers at least 8 hours of sleep. Loves to be outside of his cage whether on top, on outside perch, and will venture off the cage and walk around the floor. Loves to sit on the clean clothes while you fold them. Doesn’t mind other calm fur babies. He loves pistachios as a treat. Foster mom is currently working on some cage aggression, being hand tame and overall some 'grumpy ole man tendencies.' Bert yearns for attention and companionship but is not the cuddly type. He would love another male avian companion and we are recommending that he be adopted out to a household w/o small children, as he will bite.
