Cutest puppy in the world alert!! Meet beautiful little Daisy, a 5 month old pit mix. Her pictures do not capture her beautiful, soothing hazel eyes, but when you see her in person you will just melt! Daisy was found as a stray in NYC on an extremely hot day and was understandably very scared being in a big city with no mom or dad. A woman on the street called to her and she climbed right into her lap. Thankfully she was brought to the shelter where she received a medical exam, vaccinations, and a nice cool space to decompress.
Daisy is thriving in her foster home! She adores playing with the other dogs and definitely gives them much needed exercise, chasing them around the yard. She is puppy-playful and loves exploring. She is still in the clumsy stage, and falls off the couch, trips over her own feet, and slides across the floor trying to keep up with the bigger dogs. She adores people and is a great snuggler! She is very affectionate and likes to lay on her foster mom's lap and rest her head on her shoulder. Total puppy love!
After two weeks of being in her foster home, she followed her foster mom out the door without her knowledge and calmly walked with her halfway down the block. She has shown remarkable recall and doesn't stray far from her family! If you are looking for an off leash hiking or beach companion, Daisy would be great.
She is up to date on all her shots, crate trained, 99% housetrained, and heart worm negative. She weighs about 36 pounds right now, but will definitely grow to be a big girl! She will be spayed prior to adoption. Whoever adopts Daisy will be so very lucky, she is a sweetheart and a constant source of laughter and love!
