Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Violet 1 came to us in the summer of 2009 along with her litter of kittens. Her kittens have all been adopted, which often happens with our moms, but Violet is still patiently waiting for her forever home. She loves to play and explore and is an independent cat who appreciates affection from people even though she doesn't actively seek it out. Violet 1 has a beautiful tabby coat and an interesting face with a very exotic look. Siglinda says that Violet 1 is one of the smartest cats she's ever known (and Siglinda has known a lot of cats!). Violet 1 would probably do best in a safe indoor/outdoor home. Please come meet her soon. Approx. DOB: 03/01/2008
'Sponsored' means that Violet's adoption fee has been donated by a generous volunteer, so you can take her home for free - and spend that saved adoption fee on toys, food and litter!
Interested in adopting a Goathouse cat or kitten? Then please start by completing the following steps required in our screening process: 1) Complete our online adoption application: Visit www.goathouserefuge.org/adoption-application/ to get started! 2) Come for a Visit: We are open 11am - 3 PM Saturday and Sunday. Fridays are by appointment. 3) Complete a home visit: Once you confirm that you've visited in person with the cat(s) of interest and completed the online application, your responses will be reviewed by the refuge staff so that a volunteer member of our home visit team can contact you to schedule a visit. Only after a representative of the refuge has visited the applicant's home will the refuge consider continuing with the adoption process.
