Here's what the humans have to say about me:
AVAILABLE SOON FOR ADOPTION IN KY
Meet KY BLUEBELL…a one year old blue merle mini female…She weighs 28 pounds and is a very sweet girl.
KY BLUEBELL had a challenging first year but is now enjoys her foster home and the two resident males. She is crate trained, house broken and very respectful of her new environment! She walks well on leash and fetches too (of course ball and frisbee return to her foster mom are still a work in progress ;-) !) She does know other basic commands and one is crate…and she goes right in.
She has one blue eye and one blue and brown eye and loves to stand on her hind legs and rest her paws on your arm and get belly rubs mid air. She is a little on the shy side when she meets a new person, though each day she is gaining more confidence…of course a lot of aussies are just this way so I would say this is pretty typical behavior for many. Oh and please know she really likes children…and even the one and a half year old she met in a McDonald’s parking lot got lots of kisses from her!
She travels quietly in the car but does better in a crate during travel as she does not have her sea legs yet.
She is very curious and even thinks the fawns beyond the yard could be her playmates…
She can be found drinking water from the fountain and is very curious about the airplanes overhead…But has not chased anything so at this point no or very low prey drive!
She is up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives and is ready to find her forever home. If you are interested in this sweet KY BLUEBELL go to Australian Shepherds Furever and complete an application to adopt. ASF would love to help you find a terrific dog to suit your needs so if it is not BLUEBELL there are others waiting for you. https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-applica…
