Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Patches. He is a sweet, scruffy, little boy. Patches is believed to be a Shih Tzu mix. He is about 2 years old and has a sweet disposition. He likes to be the center of attention and makes a wonderful lap dog. When we first got him, he was a tangled mess of hair who did not like to be cuddled or touched. However, with a little TLC, some good clippers, and a great trainer Patches has become a handsome, gentle boy. He is good with other dogs but needs a family with no small children.
Patches graduated from the New Leash on Life program in September 2019. All NLOL dogs are fully vetted, up to date on vaccines and spayed or neutered and micro-chipped. When they graduate from The Pamlico Correctional Institution, they will have 8 to 10 weeks of crate and housebreaking training along with basic obedience and agility training.
If you think Patches could be part of your family, please visit his page at www.pamlicopaws.net and fill out an adoption application. If you would like any additional information about Patches, please call Kathy Kieffer at 703-819-8835 or Sue Ward at 252-626-3899.
