My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cash is a 1-year-old neutered male yellow lab. Cash weighs 71 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

DESCRIPTION: Jul 20, 2019: Cash is a phenomenally calm one year old. He is not destructive, but has usually been crated- he will "walk" a wire crate across the room, but is fine in a solid airline kennel, despite some initial protestations. He has learned about toys and loves to play with them. Cash enjoys the water, almost as much as nasty old mud, and has been great at the dog park. He attended a public outing where there were a number of dogs off-leash who had not earned the right to run free, and was very well mannered, even with an obnoxious small dog whose owners could not control him. His younger, smaller foster fur brother didn't have much use for him (prefers the ladies) but he got along famously with his older, bigger furry host. He is super on a leash, but has usually been walked with a harness.
Cash is one heck of a co-pilot- he was wonderful for his initial multi-hour transport as well as a 3 hour road trip. He was initially tethered, but released and knew exactly where he was supposed to stay.
Cash was interested in the first resident cat he met, but walked away after the first sniff. The jury could not reach a verdict at his next home where the cat was much younger and active. While he was very interested in children he would pass on his walks, we don't have any history of Cash having been with kids, so he is approved for 10 and up.
Cash has not had any accidents in foster and no one has heard him bark yet. Nice, nice boy, with just the right amount of snuggly!
