Tumbleweed is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so he is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.

Tumbleweed and his sister were born to a dog who lives a sad life chained outside (people are working on saving her). A neighbor rescued them and then that person decided they could no longer care for them. So they came to us. We think Tumbleweed is a long haired chihuahua mix, 7 months old and weighing 7 pounds. He does not have the stereotypical chihuahua personality. He is very friendly, loving and playful. Loves to snuggle and give kisses.Tumbleweed is crate trained, but may need other training. He is very small and must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that can hurt him. He must also be protected from outdoor predators and large raptors that would consider him dinner. Tumbleweed must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.

Tumbleweed is healthy. He is neutered fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms and current of heartworm and flea prevention. Tumbleweed has a $500.00 adoption fee that includes ground transport to Rocky Hill, Lisbon, or Danbury CT. He will not be sent north until after he is adopted.
