My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**applicants must be in a 2 hr driving range from Toronto/Niagara area as we do home visits ourselves with our dogs**

Charlie was found as a stray so there is no past information for him. Our best guess is that he is a Lhasa Apso and our vet has put him at approx. 5 yrs old . He recently had full dental done with a few extractions and neutered.
Charlie is 95% incredibly sweet and loving dog who loves to be close and cuddled, but for some unknown reason he takes a quick dislike to certain few people and will show his teeth at them. For this reason he cannot go to a home with small children as we don't know the trigger for his behaviour. The Lhasa Apso breed is very protective so may be caused from that. Most of the time he just wants to be friendly. There is also a possibility that he has been "debarked" as his bark is very quiet and raspy - like he has laryngitis.
He is great on walks, wonderful in the car, and takes treats like a gentleman/waits his turn. He gets along good with the other dogs in the foster home mainly by staying out of their way and doesn't interact with them. It's unknown about cats but I bet he's be ok.

Charlie's adoption donation is $375. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and has had dental work. If you are interested in this guy and can devote 10+ yrs to him, contact Judianne@happytailsrescue.ca for further info -or- for an online application go to www.happytailsrescue.ca/adopiton-form.
