Odie is a handsome tri-colored beagle with loveable brown eyes that tell a story. He's about 7 years old, weighs around 36 pounds, and is fun and loves stuffed toys that squeak!

He loves other dogs, except when it comes to food and dog treats, which he will defend. I expect it is part of his history. He is a typical hound and will follow his nose and gets lost easily, so he needs a structured living space. He is house broken and handles really well on the leash.

Odie really wants to please! He loves having his ears and tummy rubbed and will try to talk to you to show his appreciation.

Odie knows his name, but chooses not to listen sometimes, and if not watched closely, can disappear out of range before you realize he is gone. He does not climb, so any fenced area would work for him. But please, no crating, since most of his life has been spent in confinement and he deserves more freedom.
