Hi there my name is KING. I’m 2 yrs old and 45lbs Doodle boy who hasn’t had the best start to life. I was born on June 12, 2017. You see, I was only used for making puppies for people with nobody to care about me. Luckily my rescuers say my sad days are over and I will only know happiness from now on. I’m looking for a family who will have patience to help me learn all the things I need to know about being a real dog.
At the moment I’m settling into my foster home. My foster family says I’m very sweet and getting along well with their dogs. They’re busy fattening me up as I’m quite underweight and teaching me not to be afraid of things like stairs. They said my soul shines through my eyes and I’m so hopeful and glad to be here.
Right now I’m not yet ready for my forever home as I will need some time to settle into my foster home and get used to living as a family pet. Just Paws will accept applications but will not decide until I am settled and ready.

My forever family must be committed to puppy classes for me with positive reinforcement training only. A list of approved trainers can be found on Just Paws’ website.

Please note that although many of our dogs get along with children, we are not able to adopt to any household with kids under the age of 8 years old. This is a stipulation of our insurance and is not a reflection on suitability of the potential adopter.
All new pet parents will receive 6 weeks complimentary Pet Secure Accident and Illness Protection for any dog adopted from Just Paws. Once activated, the trial will cover veterinary bills up to $500.00 for accidents or illnesses, excluding pre-existing conditions. Please note that Just Paws is not responsible for insurance issues that may arise with your chosen veterinarian
