Macaroni and Cadee met at our FURcility on July 8th and have since developed such an incredible friendship, we can't imagine them going to a separate home. Now, this is tough. Duo's are tough. We have a difficult time adopting out one cat, let alone two at once.
But their bond is so sincere, we know this is the right thing. "Could" we adopt them out independently and they'd be OK? Yes.
Do they have a great time together playing, eating, drinking, sharing a litter box, bathing, chasing, wrestling and more? Yes.
They balance each other so well - Mac is laid back and go with the flow and Cadee is busy and involved and goofy. Together, they keep each other entertained and fulfilled.
Macaroni takes care of Cadee and Cadee keeps Mac having fun. It's like yin and yang, it just fits, so why divide?
We know how many have you have rooted for this. It is a complex decision and one I don't take lightly - to decide to bond up a pair of cats, because it can mean they stay at the facility much longer than normal, which means we save less. But, I feel this is the right thing and I know, I just KNOW someone out there will swoop them up.
So, let's get to sharing and let's get to praying. #Macadee needs a home and it must be the right one, the one they jointly dream of. The one that will cherish their uniqueness and celebrate their individualities.

✔An approved adoption application needed BEFORE a meet and greet.
✌🏻We wait to weeks to finalize adoptions so the cat has time to acclimate and adjust to their new home. At the end of two weeks, we post their officially adopted story.
🐈 Their adoption fee is $100 (to help cover some of the cost of their rescue)
🌍 Located in North Platte NE, but non local adoptions are possible.
