My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bailey really wants a forever foster home. She’s about four years old, spayed and descented.

For a foster home, the rescue pays for medical care as long as the ferret can be brought back to the rescue for the care. If not, the rescue will pay toward the vet bill. The foster family pays for food and supplies.

Bailey came in with other ferrets and can go to a home with one of them or alone.

She likes being held and petted. She loves to play in tubes. She is good with children and other pets.

She has adrenal disease. She gets a medicated implant at the rescue once every four months as treatment.

She has borderline low blood glucose. She doesn’t take any medication for it. She needs to be brought to the rescue at least twice a year to have her blood glucose level taken.

She is litter box trained about as well as most ferrets, meaning she will use the litter box most of the time but will sometimes not.

She doesn’t come with a cage. One can be borrowed if needed, as long as it is returned when the fostering is done.

Plan to buy at least one month's worth of food and any needed supplies while here. The rescue has nearly any ferret supplies you may need, including: food, water bottles, litter boxes, leashes, harnesses, shampoo, Ferretone, books, nail trimmers, toys, hammocks, sleep sacks, litter, flea supplies, deodorizing spray, cleaning supplies, and much more! Cash, check, Paypal, Zelle and credit card accepted (2.8% surcharge on credit cards).
