A neighbor down the block needed to move and was unable to take these two little companions. So Bella and Gloria’s lives turned upside down one day when they were surrendered to AALOC. Bella and Gloria, both Chihuahuas, must be adopted as a pair since they have always lived together.
Bella is the white and brown one. She is a bit more shy than Gloria and needs a little more time to warm up to new people. Gloria is the brown and white one; Gloria looks after Bella to make sure she is safe. Both are very sweet and with just a little bit of patience you will win their trust and their hearts. Similar in age and features, we believe this pair could be sisters.
In some ways owning two Chihuahuas is better than owning just one. Chihuahuas tend to be “clannish” - they prefer other Chihuahuas and like to live in a pack. Diminutive in size, Chihuahuas are perfect choices for small yards and homes but because of their size they are safer in adult homes and must be protected from cold weather and falls. They love to take walks but don’t need long or very active sessions. Chihuahuas are also very smart and extremely loyal pets.
Please consider adopting these sweet dogs. We recommend you stop by AALOC during visiting hours to meet Bella and Gloria and get to know him a bit before submitting an adoption application.
