Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Candy is a 1-year-old spayed female chocolate lab. Candy weighs 38 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.
DESCRIPTION: July 15, 2019: Candy was a little timid when she first came in, but after a couple of days getting treats, she is fine. She found out that that being petted is a good thing. Candy plays with toys, takes treats gently, and gives kisses as a reward. She likes to play with other dogs, and she would love a home with a family that has a yard and will give her the attention, exercise and training she would love to have.
Knows sit, down (sometimes), and come. Okay on lead but better with an Easy Walk Harness. Crate trained and is most likely house trained as she is keeping her room clean at the kennel.
Candy was a stray to a rural shelter. Shelter manager says is just a love of a pup. She was a stray but had to belong to someone who took care of her as her coat is in good condition. She has some manners and walks great on the leash.
