My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Breed: Schnauzer/Poodle mix
DOB: 2017
Sex: Neutered male
Weight: 13 pounds

I am not always active and running around and jumping up and down.  But the first day I got out of the shelter, I sure did act "wild" so that is how I got my name.  After a day of settling in, I got a bit calmer but I am not a lazy or a couch-potato dog for sure!

At the adoption event I went to, I was really good with the children who came to visit so I might be okay to live with gentle children.

The house I am in now has a fenced yard.  I was pretty good on the leash but with my age and energy level, I might be best with a home with a fenced yard.  I do like to run and around and chase and play with the other younger dogs.  I was a little timid at first with the other dogs but now there are a few small/medium ones I really like.  I do like to fence fight with the big dog next door so introductions to a big dog will have to be supervised to be sure whether or not I would be a match.

Since I was a unclaimed stray, there isn't any history about me.  I haven't told anyone what I think of cats and I haven't met any in my foster home.

Our application can be found online at here.

Our adoption fee for dogs that are not seniors is $220. All dogs are spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccines and heartworm.
Our adoption process includes an application, personal and vet reference checks, and a home visit. We do not ship dogs under any circumstances.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check our front page for the dates of our next Pet Parade. Appointments outside of Pet Parade to visit our dogs are only available after an application has been filled out, and processing has begun.
Please be kind to our volunteers. E-mail inquiries will be answered much faster than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.
