Rosie is a confident, golden colored little dog all of 6 pounds who just turned one years old. She is quite inquisitive where ever she is and is always on the go. She will bark at other dogs but loves all people, all ages. Her favorite thing is to play "I give up" so you scratch her belly. She needs a fenced in yard because she runs like lightning so only applicants with fenced in yards will be considered, sorry.

She is crate trained and house trained and rides well in the car but is a little nervous when first getting in. She will do best with children 7 yrs old and up due to her size and the chance of sneaking out the door if left open. She can entertain herself with dog toys and chewies. She does best with medium sized dogs who are not overly active.

Our application can be found online at here.

Our adoption fee for dogs that are not seniors is $250. All dogs are spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccines and heartworm.
Our adoption process includes an application, personal and vet reference checks, and a home visit. We do not ship dogs under any circumstances.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check our front page for the dates of our next Pet Parade. Appointments outside of Pet Parade to visit our dogs are only available after an application has been filled out, and processing has begun.
Please be kind to our volunteers. E-mail inquiries will be answered much faster than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.
