My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Midnight #2 is a 6-year-old spayed female black lab. Midnight #2 weighs 99 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 4 and up.

Midnight is a super dog who no fault of her own is looking for a new home. Midnight is a sweet pup who is great with kids, dogs and even most cats. She is a sweet girl who likes to get petted and have her butt scratched. She likes to retrieve, play in a fenced yard and to go swimming. Midnight would like a family with kids who will give the attention, love and exercise she needs.

Midnight is house-trained, non-destructive, sweet and loving. She walks nicely on a leash and harness, knows several commands, and is beautiful, too! She is approved for kids age 4 and up, but she would be happy to go home with adults, too:)

Has lived with several kids. Good with other dogs, lived with another dog and has been out with other Lab Rescue dogs at the kennel with no problems. Lived with a cat when she first met the cat she would chase it and to play, after a few weeks she stopped chasing the cat and they would sleep next to each other. Knows sit, shake and lay down. Good on walks uses a harness, no pulling, good meeting other dogs on a leash. House and crate trained, does not need a crate, had free range of house. She slept in the owners bed or with one of the kids.

UPDATE: Charm and good looks? Foster Mom says Midnight has both! She is also sweet, and has an easy disposition, great house manners and an excellent security bark (when appropriate). She walks well on leash with a harness and takes treats gently. She took an excursion to the beach with her foster family and showed them how well she can swim, retrieve and listen to commands to bring it back and drop it! She is perfect for an active family, but her needs are small. It does not take much to entertain her and bring out the bliss...she adores balls and will fetch for you over, and over, and over...
