Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ariel!
She is a 2 year old Catahoula/Pit Bull available for adoption. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, wormed, heartworm negative and microchipped. Ariel is only vocal when you come home and she is happy to see you and she does this little wiggle jump that is just the cutest!
She is housebroken. She pulls on the leash. She does not like the crate at all! Her former owner said she will break out of any crate.
Have you seen the videos of her where she "hops" when she is running in the play yard?! And she does this cute little "wiggle-wiggle-jump" when it's time to play or eat.
Ariel is a really sweet dog, but she does not like being left alone outside. Ariel has lived in a house all her life, but due to her being dog selective in the beginning with new dogs, she has been out in a 10 x 20 kennel here. She is an amazing escape artist and we had to enforce and re-enforce our kennel because she is crafty and managed to find a way out for the first month she was here. She never went anywhere, just stayed around and followed me back into her kennel. We finally foiled her efforts, but we had to get creative! Inside she’s fine and doesn't have any issues. She is not destructive at all and is very content to entertain herself with a tennis ball. She gets along with other dogs that are not hyper and alpha, but ONLY after decompressing and SLOW introduction. As in weeks before putting her with another dog. She does better with low key dogs. She doesn't like to share her toys with another dog, so anyone interested in her must understand this and not set her up for failure. She has lived with a cat and been fine with her cat, but she barks at my cats. She would thrive as an only dog, because she loves having all the attention! She is well behaved for me and knows basic commands. She really loves to sit with you in a chair and just chill.
