I am involved with an organization called Veteran’s Best Friend Indiana, Inc. We are a 501(c)(3) with a mission of matching Indiana veterans of any branch of service and in any capacity with shelter pets. We try to pick pets that fit our client’s personality, but every once in a while we have a “mismatch.” Hope, a 2 year old female pointer mix is one of those mismatches. Hope knows her basic obedience and is great on leash and out in public dog-friendly places...at home Hope has boundless energy when living with other dogs. She loves people and she loves dogs, but can only focus on one group at a time so needs a home where she is the only dog, but has doggy friends to visit. Hope is a fetching machine, loves rides in the car and is always happy. She is house and crate trained and would be a fabulous running and hiking partner for an active individual or family.
