Here's what the humans have to say about me:
In Sweet Pea's own words:
"Hi! My name is Sweet Pea. I was born around the middle of May, (I think), so that makes me
about six months old. From what my mama tells me, we were homeless and in real trouble. My
mama was so young and so tiny when she had us five kittens that she just couldn’t take care of
us anymore. We were so very little and starving to death. Mama was so brave! She went from
house to house, meeting all kinds of people, until she met the nicest human of them all! Mama
kept going back to her house until she trusted her enough and then she brought us to her. Boy,
was that human surprised, but, she was so kind. She made us a bed in her garage, put up a
screen on the door so no mean animals could hurt us, and made sure we had food and water
and these really awesome things called lovins. Now, lovins are my favorite. They feel so so SO
nice that they make me make a funny noise. I sound like I have a motor in my throat. Ha! But,
what I love the most about finding our human is that we all feel so safe. Now that we’re older
and have learned to like humans and lovins, we all get to live in the house. I love living in the
house!
Now all about me! My human gives me wet food in the morning and before I go to bed and I
love it so so SO much! Like, you have no idea how much! She says I’m spoiled. She calls me
Piglet, too. I love dry food. I love the snack she throws for me to catch. I love the food she gives
me when the humans eat dinner. I love the snacks my human puts out for the birds. I love
cookies and ice cream. I love cereal… Shoot, I just LOVE FOOD! You think that’s why she calls
me Piglet?
I’m what most people call a tuxedo kitty. I’m black and white with adorably cute mittens
(insert eye roll,) but I’m more than my stylish paws. I have brown/yellow champagne colored
eyes that light up, especially when I see a plate full of goodies. Also, I love to play, play, PLAY! I
love bird watching, climbing trees, and being alone on my pillow (because my two brothers are
SO annoying.) Actually, I might love something as much as food. I really do adore my human’s
lap and warm electric plush blanket, especially after all that bird watching when it’s chilly. My
human is great. We cuddle all the time!
My also human gave me the nickname Crazy, but I just don’t know why. I guess it might be
because I do somersaults over and over when I play with toys, or because I fetch toys for her
when we play, or because I run super-duper fast to sit on her lap, then I just throw myself down
on her when I get there. But really I do all that just because it makes her happy. She always
gives me lovins after I act that way, so that’s why I keep doing it. I really like it. She must like it
too. She says my fur is soft like silk.
Even though I have a really good relationship with my human and I love her very much, I feel
it’s time to strike out on my own, away from my stupid brother’s senses’ of humor, and find a
place where I can grow into the loving quirky cat I know I am destined to be. If you’d like to get to know me, please contact OTIS to set up a date. See ya :)"
