My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kristmas is a 9 year old female spayed Chihuahua mix. She was saved from a high kill shelter in New Mexico. Her owner died and then she was placed on a court hold at the shelter but no next of kin came forward. Our rescue saved her prior to her being euthanized off of the kill list when her time ran out. She is now in a foster home in Cheyenne.

Kristmas is a sweetheart. She loves people and has done well with a variety of other animals. She is very much a lazy lap dog who loves to snuggle and be with her person. She is on a bit of a diet but other than being overweight has not had any other known health issues.

She was spayed and received a dental cleaning (and had a bad tooth pulled) once she was rescued. She is current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped as well.

We are looking for a wonderful home that will spoil her rotten in her golden years. We are looking for a forever home where she can lounge in a recliner with someone often, not have to be left alone very often, and where she have any vet care she will need as she ages. We would prefer no small children. Kristmas has not been aggressive whatsoever but we are looking for a relaxing retirement-type home for her.
