My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sampson is a 1yr 8mo neutered male black lab. He is 48 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 5 and up.

Are you an active family that would like a buddy to play fetch with in the yard, and then cuddle? I think I'm the perfect match for you! I get along with other dogs, and I've been told off by a cat (they're strange creatures, aren't they?) so I may be able to live with one. My rescuers are still learning about me, so they'll help me update soon; If you think I'm your soulmate, fill out your application ASAP!
Check out my action shots on youtube!

UPDATE: Do you have a fenced yard, a ball throwing arm, and lots of love to give? Then this is the guy for you! Sampson walks well on an EZ-Walk harness, sleeps through the night, is house-trained, settles easily and has not touched anything he isn’t supposed to touch. This guy wants nothing more than to be near you.

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. Lab Rescue LRCP rescues and places dogs in Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and northeast North Carolina (30 miles east of I-95 and north of the Pamlico Sound.) Adopters must travel to Maryland, or Virginia with their family - human and canine - to meet the dog they want to adopt.

Lab Rescue LRCP has between 40 - 80 dogs available for adoption from foster homes across Maryland and Virginia, and at monthly adoption events. The adoption event dates and locations are listed at www.lab-rescue.org.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. After you submit an application, you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.

An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a home visit is required.
