Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Thunder is an 8 month old neutered male yellow lab. Thunder weighs 38 pounds (and will continue to grow!) and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.
Are you looking for a total love bug that'll shower you with kisses, cuddle on the couch, and accept all the belly rubs you want to give? If so, I'm you're guy. I'm just a young fella, so I'll need some help continuing to learn the ropes of being a good dog, but my foster family says I'm doing great so far! I'd love to be a part of your family...submit an application for me now!
UPDATE (from Thunder's foster family): Thunder has spent just over a week with his foster and everyone has fallen in love with him. It has been so fun to watch him become more comfortable and come out of his shell. For an 8-month-old puppy, or for any dog in general, Thunder is SUPER laid back, and wants nothing more than being on his dog bed or couch napping near his human. He loves watching his foster and will follow her if she leaves the room. Thunder has become more and more playful at the dog park, and has gained confidence from seeing how other dogs play and do other things (video: https://youtu.be/8uI-1qRRmG4). There has not been a dog that he does not get along with, and he knows when to pull back if a dog yaps at him. Though Thunder loves playing with other dogs, he loves to say hello to every human, and wants nothing more then to be pet and return the favor with kisses. On a recent walk, a couple asked if they could pet Thunder. He happily approached them, sat very politely and rested their head on their laps - everyone melted! When he greets his foster upon her return home, he lets out the cutest little cry and just collapses into his foster for some love (see video https://youtu.be/r2ytEH6mhFE).
