My story

My name is Zoe’ and I’m an Australian Shepard and Australian Cattle Dog mix. That’s the combination of two of the world’s smartest dogs!

Some humans don’t want to adopt me because I’m 6 years old even though I don’t l look, feel or act my age! Puppies can be a lot to handle but an older dog’s already way past the potty training and chewing stage of life. I’m ready to fit right in to your family.

I’m easy going so if you already have a fur-baby in the family that’s OK. I’m sometimes a little shy but I’m a true lovey-dovey kind of dog.

I’m all grown up at about 40 pounds, this is as big as I’ll get. My beautiful coat is medium length, so I will need an occasional brushing to help me keep it well groomed. I think I’d be perfect for someone who wants a companion and can understand what it feels like to be getting older.

I love to lounge under a nice cool tree and I dream of my own back yard to play in. At night I’ll be happy with a soft warm place that’s near you to sleep in.

I am spayed and have all my shots and am microchipped. My adoption fee is normally $50 however I’m part of our Senior to Senior Program. If you are under 60 years old my adoption fee is $45, if you are over 60 years old my adoption fee is $40. See it pays to get old!
