Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zeke is a great boy that has just came back to the rescue after an unfortunate incident in his adoptive home where he had been for five months. He was originally found as a stray and we pulled him from a kill shelter. Zeke is a happy, fun-loving boy that typical of the sheltie breed is always ready to go. He loves to go on walks and hikes and isn't afraid to get dirty or take a shortcut through a creek. He would be great for someone that is looking for an active dog to take on hikes, bike rides or train for agility. Zeke loves to play with toys and readily plays even if there's no one around to play with. His favorites so far seem to be stuffed toys, Kongs and a large hard plastic ball. It's very fun to watch him play as he is so happy! Zeke is a sheltie mix, around 3 years old and weighs about 30-35 lbs. Zeke would be great for someone that wants a dog that can travel with them too. He is great in the car and so far has never met a stranger. Everyone he meets just loves him. Zeke has been neutered and is current on his vaccinations. He is also heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea preventative. Zeke needs an experienced dog owner and one with knowledge of the sheltie breed is a plus!
