Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Opie is being fostered in South Carolina. He is neutered, current on his vaccinations and learning some basic training. He is heart worm negative, 1.5 years old and weighs 30 pounds.
Opie is very loving, likes to snuggle, loves kids, gets along with other dogs, and is ok with our cat so far. He does chase our cat outdoors, so we are keeping a close eye. He is very smart, energetic and wants to please people. We think he is a Border Collie/Aussie/American Cattle mix. Definitely a herding mix. Opie will be available for adoption in about a month. If anyone is looking for a smaller sweetie, please keep him in mind. He will be available for adoption through Australian Shepherds Furever in a few weeks!
note:
Opie is a strong, young herding dog breed mix, fast, energetic male. and will do best with a large fenced yard to run. He needs plenty of exercise, running, hiking, or working (livestock) and agility or frisbee athletics. He will also need a herding dog breed experienced owner that can take time to further his training."
