Additional info:

Hermes was adopted from us twice and returned both times! It’s time that he find an adopter that sticks! Hermes is much more social now than he was before. He’s active, smart and independent. He does approach new people and is playful with other dogs. Once he is familiar with someone he will get excited and jump into their laps. He does have a lot of energy and is super smart, Hermes needs to a home that can keep him active, he loves exploring and adventures. His leash aggression has improved tremendously, and his resource guarding is easy to manage as long as he has a confident person that can keep him on the right track. We feel that he would do best in a home with another dog that loves to play and a yard.

Hermes is a very happy, playful and friendly boy! He loves walks and hikes so is just looking for an active person that can offer him structure and boundaries, he does have a bite history and resource guards toys and some bones so Hermes cannot be in a home with children.

Hermes is dog selective and will prefer to be around dogs his size. He can also resource guard toys and food to other dogs, but this is manageable, if the person is willing, He is looking for an active person that can take him on hikes and he would make a great running partner. He does bark at outside noises so apt living may not be best for him.
