My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopt only to Tampa Bay and surrounding areas. No exceptions.

Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee the breeds of any dog of mixed origin. No one can. DNA tests are not fully accurate. Mixed breed dogs are a product of a lineage undetermined. Since we are forced by the advertising sites to choose two breeds, we ascertain the two breeds by mere guestimate based on appearance and behavior.

Fascinating. People lover.

When we met the transport carrying Malaya who came to us from a high-kill shelter she was alarmingly skin and bones. Within minutes of putting her into our vehicle she became unconscious. We rushed her to emergency. Malaya required a blood transfusion to save her life. She was so enemic the specialist struggled to draw enough blood to determine her blood type. After four days under 24-hour emergency care Malaya survived! Weeks of steady, high nutrition brought Malaya full circle. She is now ready for her forever home.

A saucy, funny, intelligent and highly responsive girl, Malaya is the hit of any show. She loves and craves people. With other dogs she will play, but if she senses another dog is threatening her she will not ignore those signals. Malaya could be in a home with another dog, but she would flourish being the only one adored.

Malaya doesn't need a back yard, per se, but she does need an outlet for her energy. She walks perfectly on a leash. Malaya is a girl that will give more than she gets. After all she has suffered Malaya is a miracle walking this earth.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Stay at home, work from home or retired.
2. Must feed quality foods.
3. Provided heartworm prevention monthly.

There is no reason to feed your dog the same dog food bag after bag. This alone causes the dog's digestive system to be dependent on food. Rotate manufacturers.. No dog food has it all. A dog's biological need is variety.
Feed your dog to do more than survive. Feed your dog to thrive.
