Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Archie is our one year old lab mix.. He weighs 65-70lbs. now and will probably gain a few pounds.
Archie gets along fabulously with the other dogs here at the rescue. If you are looking for a new family member that is FUN then Archie is your guy.
He LOVES to give kisses and will lay at your feet for hours.. Oh, and simply one beautiful pup! His coat is a gorgeous color. He is 100% house trained and loves to hike & camp. Great off leash. LOVES water.
If you are interested in giving Archie a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the notes section. While you are there, please Like our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.
Here is the link: www.facebook.com/pages/MAR-Mercer-Animal-Rescue-501c3/374149832631589
The application can also be downloaded from our website www.merceranimalrescue.org or email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you.
Archie's adoption donation is $525 which helps to cover his neutering, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), rabies, heart worm prevention, flea/tick prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.
ALL OUR DOGS START THEIR JOURNEY IN TENNESSEE
Archie is currently fostered in Tennessee and will travel to his new family once he has been adopted.
We use a weekly professional pet transport to take the dogs to their new homes in the Northeast. Pick up locations are available in VA, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, VT.
The next trip to the Chicago area for the dogs adopted to the mid-west is Sunday, July 14, 2019.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. The donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known a home.
