My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Josie is officially looking for a family of her own and she’ll stop at nothing to find the perfect humans! Nearly a year ago, this precious little girl was wondering the streets of Texas, covered in mange and emaciated. One call to animal control, and Josie was just another brown dog sitting the the shelter.

Luckily she was rescued and brought back to health. She then spent nearly 10 months with her foster home in Texas. They taught her how to be a dog, to go potty outside and how to love others. They helped cultivate an amazing dog, a dog that would complete any family. Yet somehow, she kept getting overlooked.

Not anymore! Beautiful 2-3 year old Josie is in Wisconsin and is determined to find her perfect match! She likes other dogs and gets along with cats, but most of all, she loves children! She’s the type of dog that would absolutely love to grow up with some children of her own! Throw in a few toys and some belly rubs and you’ll have the happiest companion ever!
