The term “cute puppy” is a massive understatement for ZENA. This girl is absolutely adorable! As of 6/25/19 she is about 9 weeks old and is already bursting with personality. ZENA loves to cuddle and never runs out of puppy kisses for her foster family. She has an infectious sparkle in her eyes and outgoing towards everyone she meets. Like all puppies, she loves to frolic and play, whether it be with other pups or all by herself with her toys. ZENA lives in a foster home with other dogs and is getting tons of socialization during this crucial development period. ZENA is picking up on her potty training and house manners quickly. She does have tyical boxer energy so this girl isn't the right match for a Netflix and chill family. She will be a great companion for all life’s future adventures. ZENA’s forever family is going to be so lucky to have her.

ZENA is microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
Her $490 adoption fee includes her interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the Midwest after she is officially adopted.
Though not mandatory for adoption, applicants with boxer or other relevant breed will be considered favorably.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and our own private transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
