This adorable little girl is Penelope. She is believed to be around 4 months old. Based on appearance we are calling her a lab/beagle mix. She only weighs 15lbs right now, and will most likely be between 35-45lbs when full grown, but that is not a guarantee. We had her spayed and her back dew claws removed earlier this week. She will be up to date on shots, microchipped, and on monthly preventatives.
Penelope is a very sweet girl who just wants love and attention. She was recently surrendered to a county shelter after her original family was no longer able to care for her. She has done great with the other dogs she has met so far and loves people as well. Penelope will need to continue work with house and crate training. She can sometimes be vocal when left alone in her crate. Due to this, she may not be best suited for apartment life. If you would like more pictures I formation, or would like to set up a time to meet her please send us a message. Also, don’t forget to fill out an application. We do not hold any dogs for people who have not submitted an approved application.

Generally, we are able to meet weekdays after 6pm and Saturday/Sunday after 1:30pm. Preferred spot to meet is Fairchild Park in Burlington or at the Burlington Petsmart near target. Since she is already spayed, she would be able to go home same day with an approved adopter
