My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet BeBop... The most amazing and unique bulldog we have had the opportunity to meet!
Bebop came into Nor Cal Bulldog Rescue last October after spending 9 months with an SPCA volunteer in Arizona. She came into the AZ SPCA as a stray.
Bebop is about 3 years old. When she came into rescue, she had red, angry, itchy skin and was 95% bald. Over months of treatment with UC Davis and Dr. Sweet, Nor Cal's 'go to vet' at Blue Ravine Animal Hospital in Folsom, Bebop has turned a corner and is no longer itching. Her fur is starting to grow back in and she is feeling like a new bully girl!
She most likely won't ever have a full coat, but she can live a normal dogs life with maintenance. She may look a little different, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.....right?
PLUS: No shedding!!!
In Bebop's past life, she was so pre-occupied with her itching, that she did not bond well or listen to her caretakers. Now that she is feeling better, she wants to be your constant shadow, snuggle with you on the couch, and wag her whole body when she sees you.
Bebop can sometimes be a bit rough when she plays (she is learning, but still doesn't know better) so she will not be placed with children under the age of 10 years old. Bebop has been okay with her foster siblings, but will not be a candidate for dog parks because she can get nervous with uneven energy. She is fully potty trained and crate trained.
What will it require of you to take care of BeBop? Bebop's maintenance is not going to be as difficult as we once thought. She currently gets medication every other day (which we are working on tapering more), and needs to be bathed on an as needed basis. She also takes a fatty acid supplement to help her skin stay nice and healthy...
Bebop loves to hang out with you in the house and follow you around with her bone. She does not get into things that are inappropriate and loves to wag her bottom in approval when she sees you.
If you are up for a great girl with a great wardrobe, she is "the one" for you!

To be considered as BeBop's forever home, you must FIRST fill out an application on our website.
