My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BEAU is a 1-year-old neutered male black lab. Beau weighs 66 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

DESCRIPTION Beau is a good pup who likes to play and get your attention. Had a hard time getting pictures at first as he wanted to be next to me to get petted. He likes playing with toys and retrieves them nicely. He gets along well with other dogs. He would like an active family that has a yard for him to play in and who will give him the attention, training and exercise he needs. Beau went to a foster this afternoon, more soon. Good with other dogs, lived with one. Knows sit, come and sometimes down. Beau is a young pup who can use some additional training so he will have a Training Addendum. Okay on lead better with an Easy Walk Harness. Crate trained reported as house trained and he is keeping his room clean at the kennel. We had a call from a woman who had to give up her dog because of health reason to one of the shelters we work with and asked us if we could help. We contacted the shelter and they told us they were going to call us to see if we could take him. so it worked out great. Beau is a great pup, has some manners, gets along with other dogs and has a lot of energy.

UPDATE: Beau is settling into his foster home very nicely. He rode quietly in the car, and only whined a little when they were stuck in traffic (they all did!). He explored the yard, met his foster sister, had a bath, dinner and a nap. More to come as we learn about this super sweet boy.
