My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Angel. We briefly introduced you to her a few weeks ago. She’s been with us here at the Sanctuary, and we’ve been getting to know this sweet girl.

Angel came to us from a vet friend of ours. One of his clients passed away leaving Angel and another dog. Sadly, the other dog was very ill and had to be euthanized. Angel was fine, healthy and happy, but she had no where to go. So our friend brought her to us. And we are so happy he did because Angel is a great dog, and she deserves a new home where she will be loved and cherished for the rest of her dear life.

Angel is a basset hound/beagle mix, a “bagel”, as it were. She’s about ten years old and weighs about 40 pounds. She’s spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and housetrained. She a very gregarious and talkative dog, loves attention and gets along with other dogs.

Our adoption process is simple. We ask you to complete a one-page application. An interview will then take place in your home. There will be no adoption fee. Donations, though, are always welcome. Adoptions outside of Northwest Arkansas are not out of the question. We welcome sincere inquiries from anywhere, and we’re happy to work with long-distance applicants.
