My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rusty is a hefty 16lb lap cat. He is reliably on my lap every evening as soon as we are watching tv, and half on my legs as soon as I get in bed. Rusty was rescued from a hoarding situation — where there were over 100 cats kept in one 8x10 room. The trauma of his youth doesn’t seem to have scarred him too deeply, though; he is very mellow and sweet. He loves spending his days sitting on a chair cushion looking out the window (as photoed). He loves the other cats in the house, and is often spotted grooming Meadow, one of his foster brothers. He is definitely a boss in the house in his way — he is known for guarding the Kibble and keeping the other cats in line. I do think he loves other cats, but would probably also be fine on his own. He loves everyone he meets and is a really outgoing dude. He needs a urinary diet due to crystals.
