My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Colby is just the sweetest little guy who loves attention and sitting on your lap! He loves everyone - people, other dogs and even cats. We had him do his photo shoot and all he wanted was to sit by the volunteers and be petted. He quickly became a favorite of the volunteers. He was brought into the county kill shelter as a stray and was not claimed by anyone. He has some skin issues that resulted in some hair loss that we have been treating, but is otherwise healthy. We have no doubt that once his hair grows back, he will be as handsome as ever! He is a Shih Tzu mix who is approximately 3 years old and weighs 20 pounds. He could stand to lose a few pounds. Colby is looking for a forever home that will give him the attention and love that he craves. Colby's adoption fee is $650 (that includes ground transport from Houston, TX to the Hartford, CT area). He has been neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped so he is ready to go! **Colby is currently in his foster home in Houston, Texas.
