My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ORION's such a stunningly beautiful boy, and you couldn't ask for a better temperament or a sweeter mew. He's happy to spend time on your lap, interacting with you and his toys, or strolling through the house with an air of cheer. I can't imagine a better companion.

Orion was abandoned by his owners when they moved out of their apartment complex several months ago. A kind-hearted resident finally took him in during the rains and has been watching over him ever since. When she couldn't find him a permanent home, she reached out to me hoping for help with a courtesy post. I have no doubt, if you open your heart and home to this fabulous boy, he'll return the favor ten fold. He's truly spectacular.

Orion gets along great with other cats, and doggies, with proper introductions of course. Just look how tolerant he is with toys stacked all over him, too adorable! And his magical coloring is very impressive! Orion's a sophisticated jet black indoors, but then let him lay in the sunshine and WOW, a glowing, rich mahogany shines through. Such a warm and radiant color, that's quite mesmerizing.

Orion's with his owner/foster mom in Citrus Heights (Sacramento), California. He was an indoor/outdoor kitty, but is now indoor only which I, as a rescue, strongly prefer. I'm only helping in the facilitation of the adoption, to bring adopter and kitty parent together. He's neutered, and received an Advantage Multi/ Advocate treatment, covering fleas, ear mites, some parasites, round worms, hook worms and heartworm disease. He's also microchipped and current on his rabies.
