Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Lucy! Well, my name was Scarlett when the shelter staff in Abilene, Texas named me, but I didn't respond very well to that. I was found out in the woods in Texas with my littermates and my mom. The shelter was very scary. A nice rescue called Chrissy's K-9 Kastle rescued me and brought me to Wisconsin to give me a chance at life! I'm a little shy at first, but I am learning to trust people and try new things. I'm figuring out that people can be really nice and kind to me. I really like to hang out with the tan and brown dogs around here. I require a fenced in yard due to my current fearful/shy nature. I'm afraid of children right now. I would never hurt them, but I have a tendency to hide when I hear them. If you are a patient person, I could be a great girl for you. I'm not going to be a really big dog, I'm only 11 pounds right now. I'd love to learn even more about this wonderful world. Remember...everyone loves Lucy!
We do require an approved adoption application for all meet and greets. If you are interested in adopting, please ask us for an application to be emailed to you. Thank you.
