My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Squirt.
This sweet boy who hasn't had the best of luck finding a forever home. He's been adopted twice and returned. It seems he would do best in a quiet home with a female owner and not a whole lot of people coming and going to the house, as he seems to become portective over the woman of the house.
Squirt loves to be near his human, cuddling on the couch or going bye bye in the car. He bonded well with Don here at the rescue so we're not sure why he has issues bonding with men once adopted. He does have some allergy issues where his eyes are itchy and his little eye lids turn reddish. We give him benedryl to help with this.


He does get along with other small dogs. He has done fine with children and he has not been tested with cats.
