My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rascal is one lucky little pup. This cutie and his sibling was dumped on a country road is the middle of nowhere. A citizen witnessed this cruel act take place. I'm looking for a gentle,loving,patient soul that will be understanding of Rascals past. He is extremely affectionate and LOVES his person with all of his little being. He is however a bit nervous. If you move to quickly toward him he will cower and sometimes even cry or let out a tiny scream. It absolutely breaks your heart. When hes held he literally hugs you and puts his head on your shoulder. Initially, I was a bit concerned about his house training (or lack of) but we put him with foster with fewer animals in the household and he has done much better.

Rascals is very tiny,much to small to be outside alone. Birds of prey have been know to take dogs and cats of this size right out of the families yard. Due to his past and is fear of being hurt, small children would not be a good fit. He is very playful with other pets but if their are to many, Rascal may try to mark his territory. His foster mom kept a watchful eye on him and would correct him with a firm NO if she thought he was about to lift that little leg. He really is precious and that itty bitty scruffy face will melt your heart. Please shoot me a text to request our adoption questionnaire.
