Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Fred! I’m a handsome, sweet, and silly beagle boy looking for my furever home.
Foster mom says I’m a smart boy too. I’ve learned a lot in the couple of weeks I’ve been in my foster home. When I got here I wanted to mark everything but I’ve learned that that’s only allowed in the yard. I’m proud to say I haven’t had an accident in almost two weeks. I’ve also learned that I’m not supposed to pull on my leash when we go for a walk. I do like to zig zag around some like many beagles but I don’t try to yank foster mom around anymore. Foster mom puts me in a crate when she’s not home and overnight. Initially, I fought her tooth and nail when it came to going into the crate but now, although I’m not thrilled about going in my crate, I’ll go in willingly when asked. I’m a really good boy and I really want to please. I just need someone to teach me what’s expected.
I’m a very happy boy and I’d do well in a home with other dogs or as an only dog. I love, love, love getting loved on and cuddling with my foster family. I love a good belly rub too! I like going for walks or rides in the car and I like chew bones and toys. I don’t really play with the other dogs in my foster home but I love to play with my foster mom or just run around with a toy in my mouth. I’m a little bit mischievous and I have gotten into things once in a while but, overall, I’m a very good boy. My main thing I like to steal is the remote control. I like to grab it off the table and I like to take it out into the backyard. But, once foster mom did a little additional puppy proofing, I’ve done really well.
If you think I might be a good match for you, contact the nice people at Midwest BREW and ask for Fred!!!
NOTE: Dogs may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
