Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bear #3 is a 7-year-old neutered male black lab. Bear #3 weighs 88 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.
DESCRIPTION: Bear is a sweet hunk of chocolate with gorgeous mahogany highlights. Want a big blockhead lab, but concerned about the stuff on your coffee table? Tail-less Bear is your guy! This love bug wants ALL the cuddles and plays well with the resident lab who’s also teaching him to fetch. Bear is VERY interested in squirrels, other small animals, bike riders, etc. He is a very easygoing pup.
UPDATE: This ruggedly handsome teddy bear is 7 years old, 88 pounds, house-trained, sweet and lovable as can be. He is a calm, mellow, laid back boy. Generous with kisses and slobber, he'll rest his head in your lap and gaze into your eyes endlessly. He WILL win the staring game. Bear plays sweetly with the resident lab and is learning to fetch. He is not adventurous with food. (Beef jerky yes, veggies no) Bear may bark or grumble quietly when he sees someone (human or dog) new, but his nub will be wagging when he gets a chance to say hello. (We try to make sure he's meeting one person and/or dog at a time.) Bear is sometimes great on leash, but sometimes he wants to stop and check out everything, or stare at the human across the street. (How rude!) He'll also try to take off with no warning if something like a squirrel catches his eye.
