Meet Tank! Tank is a Chihuahua Mix from a breeder or also know as a mill dog. The breeder had taken him to a Veterinarian at 8 weeks old with a prolapsed rectum and the breeder wanted him put down. The Veterinarian Staff knew this was a fixable condition and reached out for rescue help. We stepped in and his prolapse was surgically repaired. After a few weeks in the foster home it was realized that something else was not right with Tank. After many tests to rule out illness, Tank has been diagnosed with Protein Losing Enteropathy, Protein-losing enteropathy is an abnormal loss of protein from the digestive tract. It can also refer to the inability of the digestive tract to absorb proteins. Tank is now on a prescription diet from our Veterinarian and is doing very well. He will need to be kept on a strict prescription diet for the rest of his life. Also regular check ups with a Veterinarian will be expected to follow his condition. With the consistent care plan we now have Tank on, he will lead a normal happy life.

Tank's adoption fee is $300.00 which includes his neuter, current on all vaccines including rabies, de-wormed, current on heart worm prevention and flea/tick prevention.
